10 Days of Giving | Mistral Restaurant Princeton NJ

This holiday season, “give back” to a family in need by donating a household item and/or personal care item to Harvesting Hope, a workforce development and job-training program of Crisis Ministry of Mercer County.

While any personal health care or household item as well as children toys (unwrapped) are acceptable for donation, specific ‘wish list’ requests from some of the Crisis Ministry’s families listed below Monday, December 21 – Thursday, December 31.

As a gesture of our appreciation to those who join us in supporting this organization’s incredible cause, in exchange for each donation, Mistral will provide a complimentary drink token, redeemable for one of our house wines, cocktails or draft beers.

Harvesting Hope helps moms and dads who have been receiving public benefits rejoin the workforce with new skills and experience. Learn more about this program and Crisis Ministry of Mercer County by visiting http://www.thecrisisministry.org/.

MISTRAL

Stephen Distler and Scott Anderson’s Mistral was recently named one of the 30 best meals of 2015 in New Jersey by Inside Jersey magazine. The menu at Mistral is flat-out impressive and tantalizing. Monkfish wrapped in chicken skin ($18), lightly smoked bluefish sashimi ($16) and kung pao sweet breads ($18) are the siren songs calling you to the tables of Mistral. Honestly, you’d be hard-pressed to find these items on a menu anywhere else. The bar menu is equally as impressive and eclectic with deviled quail eggs ($6), Yorkshire pudding ($7), and smoked salmon tartine ($10) serving as the highlights. 66 Witherspoon St., Princeton, 609-688-8808.
