Truchard Wine Dinner on Tuesday, April 11th at 6pm
Mistral is pleased to bring you a truly unique Truchard Wine Dinner on Tuesday, April 11th at 6 pm on our enclosed heated patio. It will include a Five Course Tasting Menu with wine pairing for $99 per person (tax and gratuity additional).
Truchard winery is a small, family-owned operation started by husband and wife team Tony and Jo Ann Truchard and is now run by their son Anthony.
Our wine experts taste 100’s of different wines to find just one excellent wine for our list and Truchard really stood out. Since we started offering their wine we have become the leading seller of Truchard Rousanne in the country. It really is an excellent wine. Their whole line up is great including the Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Cab and Syrah. In speaking with the winery they offered to come and speak at our restaurant for a tasting.
Our talented Chef Ben tasted each of the wines and came up with a menu that is paired perfectly. The tasting starts with the Rousanne, a delicate white wine and working through to the final course, the dessert wine is a late harvest sweet wine made from the same Roussanne grape. It is the last 9 bottles ever to be sold.
